We generate static QR Codes, so they do not expire. If the information linked to the QR Code is changed, such as a web page URL, then it's will not function as intended - as the QR code will continue to point to the original address.

Why do you give the QR codes for free? What's the catch?

We hope to get enough coffee to keep us going! There are no license, trademark or etc. fees like a UPC code. Some companies may charge you for dynamic QR code services. We may offer something like this in the future, but we recommend using static QR codes tied to your domain if your material is evergreen.
